All this talk of e-reader technology reminded me of a video I saw recently from Bonnier R&D and the London design agency, BERG. They have looked at how the experience of reading a magazine can be transferred to an e-reader.
What I like about this is the way they have studied the way people actually read magazines and tried to maintain the things that we like about them - like the ability to flick through the pages and dive into the articles that interest us.
While some people worry that new technology means losing some of the tactile appeal of the printed word, this concept may provide a genuinely richer experience.
