Here's a nice futurology kinda video from Microsoft, giving us a look at what's around the corner in terms of office work and productivity (conspicuous by its absence - a certain Lotus Notes..).
This stuff's easy to get wrong, but it's always cool when someone sticks their neck out and actually has a decent crack at it. At times like these it's striking just how prescient 2002's Minority Report (multi touch, addressable outdoor, AR & IOT stuff everywhere etc etc) was.
So, a well thought through vision of how Mediacom Towers might look in the very near future (perhaps a little shiny and optimistic, given recent news headlines point to a working environment that's perhaps more Mad Max than Silicon Valley's glass-and-polished-steel utopian dream. And there wouldn't be a Polar Bear in the kiddies' book, as they don't exist in the future).
Anyway, never mind all that, I digress - chin up and let's all watch the shiny video.
(Still no jetpacks either, which is wholly disappointing)
